If Tim Duncan posts a selfie on social media, it has to be important.

The NBA legend and a current assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs shared a message on Friday about the importance of stopping the spread of the coronavirus via the Facebook page for his business, BlackJack Speed Shop.

Decked out in a mask emblazoned with the speed shop's logo, Duncan reminded everyone to take precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic by covering their face while out for essential items.

The city advises all residents over the age of five to wear some sort of facial protection when in public.

The post immediately lit up with comments by people wanting to purchase the mask.

Unfortunately, the mask is not available for sale as it was a custom-made job for an event that occurred before the current crisis, according to Jason Peña of BlackJack Speed Shop.

But as the message on Facebook points out, any kind of cotton facial protection can make a difference.
